Saving costs start at the very first kilometer: AOLITE Compact Wheel Loaders — Engineered for European Standard Trailers
Why Design for European Trailers from Day One?
At AOLITE, we don’t just build compact wheel loaders. We delve in deep research in application scenarios and how dealers deliver equipment to end users.
In Europe, logistics costs are often a hidden profit killer. While passenger cars and trailers are widely available, one key constraint defines transport economics: the EU Category B driving license rule. Under EU Directive 2006/126/EC, when towing a braked trailer with a standard B license, the combined maximum permissible mass of vehicle and trailer must not exceed 3,500 kg.
In addition, EU regulations allow a limited tolerance under specific conditions (speed limit of 100 km/h): the technically permissible maximum laden mass may be exceeded by up to 10% or 100 kg (whichever is lower), bringing the effective limit to around 3,850 kg. Trailer tare weight is typically within 1,000 kg.
This leaves roughly 2,500–2,800 kg for the machine itself. The conclusion is simple: to transport legally with a standard B license, machine weight must stay under 2.8 tons. From day one, AOLITE set this as a core design target. For drivers with a B96 license (Category B license under code 96), the combined limit increases to 4,250 kg. With a BE license, trailer capacity rises to 3.5 tons and total combined mass of up to 7,000 kg. All AOLITE compact loaders are designed to fit these license categories, ensuring compliant and efficient transport for different users.

AOLITE Design Philosophy: Controlled Weight, Uncompromised Performance, Full Compliance
We asked a simple question: what is the value of a powerful machine if it cannot be transported on a standard trailer and incurs excessive logistics costs for every kilometer driven?
Therefore, from the outset, we set a clear engineering goal: keep total machine weight under 2.8 tons without sacrificing performance, safety, or EU CE compliance.
To enter the EU market under CE certification, compact loaders must comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the Noise Emission Directive 2000/14/EC, and non-road engine emission regulations. Standards such as EN 474-1 and EN 474-4 impose strict requirements on structural strength, operational safety, and protective systems. Lightweight designs must never compromise compliance or reliability. We achieve a balance through:
-Optimized structural design: removing redundant weight while maintaining strength.
- High-strength lightweight materials: EU-compliant structural steel for higher load efficiency.
- Smart component integration: fewer unnecessary parts for greater compactness.
- Rigorous compliance validation: full CE process including risk assessment and noise testing.
As a result, AOLITE compact wheel loaders achieve CE certification, meet European safety standards, maintain strong lifting and working performance, and remain light enough for standard European trailers. The following models are designed under the 2.8-ton limit, enabling easy, legal, and cost-efficient transport:
- Electric product series: E604 Series, E606 Series, E610 Series, E612 Series
- Hydrostatic product series: 606H
Core advantage: AOLITE saves you money on every kilometer of transportation.
Why does 2.8 tons matter so much? Because it fundamentally reshapes logistics cost structure.
For Dealers:
- No need for expensive heavy-duty flatbed trucks or low-flatbed trailers.
- Existing car and trailer combinations can be used for delivery. With Category B licenses sufficient enough for legal transport.
- Lower fuel consumption, no special permits, no license upgrades.
- Transport cost reduced by 50–70% per machine.
For End Users:
- Equipment can be moved between job sites using personal vehicle and trailer.
- No need to hire transport contractors for short-distances.
- Faster response to various job conditions.
- Lower total cost of ownership.
Built for Europe, compatible with standard trailers, capable of handling tough situations
AOLITE compact wheel loaders are designed with no compromise. A truly great machine should never force a choice between performance and transport costs.
What you get is reliable lifting and digging performance, compact machine body size, and easy maintenance. Above all, one key design commitment: engineered from the start for European standard trailers—eliminating overweight transport costs and saving money from the very first kilometer.
